My background as a museum educator inspires me to design playful, novel experiences that visitors won’t forget. At the Museum of the Moving Image, I led demonstrations and hands-on workshops on the history and practice of filmmaking, video games, and animation. At the Paley Center for Media (formerly the Museum of Television & Radio), I produced celebrity-driven panel discussions, festivals, and special exhibits. Tasked with capturing a younger audience, I spearheaded Paley’s interactive viewing parties and fan events for shows like Mad Men, Lost, and Dr. Who, forging new partnerships with networks along the way. I also edited Paley Center content for digital platforms like Hulu and YouTube.

I studied Film at Vassar College and received an MS in Digital Media from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Experience Design Lead Second Story 2014 – Present Atlanta, GA

I work closely with technologists, art directors, and producers to create the framework of the full experience.

I create experience maps, customer journeys, and flow diagrams to communicate the overall structure and design of the experience to the project team and clients.

Digital prototypes, including wireframes and interactive presentations, demonstrate the key features of the experience for the clients and provide a detailed reference for the technologists.

In the Second Story lab, I create physical prototypes (both scale and 1:1 models) of fixtures and interactive objects used in testing and fabrication. Quickly building these physical objects is part of the “get real fast” ethos that guides our working process. Our XD team continually experiments with new ways to create rapid prototypes that help the team answer usability questions quickly.

I conduct stakeholder and subject matter interviews to inform our concepting process in the early stages of the project. Immersing myself
